Meet your therapist
Rose Saint Elien, LCSW
Licensed as Rosemanie Saint Elien, LCSW, P.C.
I believe you deserve a space where you can be fully yourself—heard, respected, and never judged.
For more than 25 years, I have worked in mental health with people navigating emotional challenges, life changes, and the desire to feel more grounded. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University. That experience and training have taught me that clinical knowledge matters, but so do warmth, honesty, patience, and a genuine human connection.
My commitment
What you see here is who you will meet in session.
I provide a warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly and feel heard. I take time to understand your needs, emotions, and experiences without criticism or assumptions. The person you encounter here is the same therapist you will meet in session—genuine, compassionate, and deeply committed to supporting your growth.
I genuinely love the work I do and believe therapy can create meaningful change. Together, we can understand the thoughts and emotional patterns causing distress, challenge negative thinking, and develop practical tools that support you beyond the therapy hour.
My broader experience spans psychotherapy, behavioral health, education, and community-based services, giving me a comprehensive understanding of the emotional, relational, and life experiences that shape overall well-being. For more than 25 years, I have been dedicated to helping individuals and families build resilience, strengthen emotional wellness, and create meaningful, lasting change. My expertise includes family dynamics, emotional regulation, self-esteem, personal growth, and identifying the thought and behavioral patterns that influence how we cope, relate to others, and navigate life’s challenges.
I take a collaborative, individualized approach to therapy, integrating evidence-based practices with genuine compassion to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped to move forward.
Christian Faith-Based Therapy
Faith is a meaningful part of who I am. For more than 25 years I have been involved in ministry, serving in church leadership and walking alongside women and youth for over two decades. As a licensed psychotherapist, I am able to offer Christian faith-based therapy for clients who are specifically looking for a therapist who shares that foundation.
I never impose faith on anyone. When a client chooses it, we can thoughtfully integrate biblical perspective into the therapeutic process—alongside evidence-based clinical care—in a way that honors their personal values and beliefs. For clients who prefer a purely clinical approach, therapy remains exactly that.
How Sessions Are Offered
My practice is primarily telehealth, serving adults throughout New York and New Jersey from wherever they feel most comfortable. I also travel locally within my community for select in-person work. Fee-based private pay services are welcome in addition to accepted insurance plans.
“Your experiences are personal. Our work should be, too.”
